Ford Mustang Mach-E Documentary Reveals SUV’s Backstory

Mustang Mach-E Documentary

Are you also intrigued by the new Mustang Mach-E, an all-electric Mustang SUV? You’re not alone. The strange but exciting new vehicle has piqued the interest of drivers all over the world, so much so that Ford has released a new Mustang Mach-E documentary called “Making the Mustang Mach-E,” which gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the new electric Mustang over 20 minutes.

As you will learn in the documentary, Ford did not originally intend for its electric SUV to be in the Mustang family. Jim Hackett, the new president and CEO of Ford as of 2017, however, had a different vision. He created a dedicated team for electric vehicles (adorably titled Ford Team Edison), and this team determined the EV SUV should be the Mustang Mach-E.

Members of this Ford Team Edison put together this riveting documentary, which was created by Ford and a creative production company called Chrome Productions, based out of London and, of course, Detroit. Chrome Managing Director Joel Mishcon and Gez Medinger served as executive producers; Melly Cook produced; Allesandro Dordoni edited; and Jamie Crawford directed the film.

If you’re interested in purchasing a Mustang Mach-E, you can put down a deposit of $500 here, or simply visit Oliver Ford when the SUV becomes available. See you soon!
