Ford Unveils Mustang Mach-E Electric SUV

Mustang Mach-E electric SUV

When you think of the Ford Mustang, you probably imagine a power-hungry coupe thrilling you at every turn. Now, the Mustang family is adding a new member in the form of the Mustang Mach-E electric SUV. This Mustang-inspired model brings performance and advanced technology together in a modern, sophisticated package.

Just like its namesake, the Mach-E will offer breathtaking performance. If you choose the GT configuration, it has enough power to accelerate from 0-60 mph in less than four seconds — faster than many performance cars on the market today.

“The Mustang Mach-E wholeheartedly rejects the notion that electric vehicles are only good at reducing gas consumption,” said Hau Thai-Tang, Ford’s chief product development and purchasing officer. “People want a car that’s thrilling to drive, that looks gorgeous and that can easily adapt to their lifestyle – and the Mustang Mach-E delivers all of this in unmatched style.”

The Mach-E will officially go on sale in late 2020 and will be available with both standard and extended-range battery options. The extended-range models are expected to deliver a driving range of more than 300 miles. Its powertrain is expected to clock in around 332 horsepower and 417 lb-ft of torque. The GT configuration takes performance even further with an estimated 459 horsepower and 612 lb-ft of torque.

If you want to get behind the wheel of the Mustang Mach-E electric SUV, don’t wait till late 2020 to do something about it. Call Oliver Ford and let us know about your interest!
